Cosmetic Repair
Tip: If you only have to do a small cosmetic repair like a scratch or a stone chip repair, use 3M Hookit™ Cubitron™ II 220+ discs with a DA sander and a large orbital (7-8 mm). Cubitron™ II removes the paint without creating deep plastic scratches and thus enables faster repair to the area.
To recreate the surface again, apply 05917 Polyolefin Adhesion promoter, let it flash off for 10 minutes and apply 3M EZ Sand Flexible Plastic Repair Material or 3M Plastic Filler prior to Primer application.
