The 3M™ 9810 + BR, 9812 + BR, 9820 + BR and 9822 + BR disposable respirators feature a foldable two-panel format and innovative 3M™ technology with advanced electrostatically charged filter microfibers designed to provide protection and comfort. With an excellent cost-benefit ratio, the respirator has comfortable and flexible elastic bands, and a metal nose clip, which facilitates the adjustment for a better seal in the nose region.

Follow the instructions and see how simple it is to put on, adjust and check the seal of your respirator: Step 1: Open the respirator and mold the nose clip. Step 2: Place the respirator covering the mouth and nose, with the nose clip facing up. Step 3: Pull the top band over your head, placing it above the ears and towards the upper back of the head. Step 4: Pull the lower band, adjusting it behind the neck. Step 5: Position the respirator so that it is on your chin. Check the setting before the next step. Step 6: If air is leaking over the edges of the respirator, adjust the elastic bands on the head. If you cannot get a proper fit, do not enter the contaminated area. See your supervisor. Step 7: Perform a positive and negative pressure seal check: Cover the respirator with both hands, inhale gently (for mask with a valve) or exhale gently (for mask without a valve). If air is leaking around the edges of the respirator, readjust its position.
