3M™ Secure Click™ Particulate Filter P95 with Nuisance Level Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Relief D3078 is NIOSH-approved for certain oil and non-oil based airborne particulate contaminants when used with 3M™ Secure Click™ facepieces. Recommended for relief against nuisance levels of organic vapors/acid gases and for ozone protection up to 10 times (10x) the OSHA permissible exposure limit (PEL).
3M™ Secure Click™ Particulate Filter P95 with Nuisance Level Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Relief D3078 has the Secure Click™ connection style. The 3M™ Secure Click™ connection style enables a quick, simple connection of the particulate filters. Simply align the connections on the facepiece and particulate filter and push until you hear a click. The innovative Secure Click connection helps provide wearers confidence that the particulate filters are installed properly. Also, the Secure Click particulate filters are dual-flow to allow easier breathing. 3M Secure Click Particulate Filter P95 with Nuisance Level Organic Vapor/Acid Gas Relief D3078 is made with proprietary Advanced Electrostatic Media (AEM) consisting of highly charged microfibers arranged in an open formation that enhance the capture of airborne particles while allowing for greater passage of air through the media. These particulate filters are both flame and water resistant. The D3078 particulate filter may be used in a variety of industries such as metalworking, grinding, sanding and welding. Common uses of D3078 particulate filters include metal fumes produced from welding, brazing, cutting and other operations involving heating of metals. In addition, solids such as those from processing minerals, coal, iron ore, cotton, flour, and certain other substances. It may also be used for liquid or oil based particles from sprays that do not also emit harmful vapors. The D3078 is recommended for ozone protection up to 10 times (10x) the OSHA permissible exposure limit (PEL). The D3078 particulate filter is recommended for relief from nuisance levels of organic vapors and acid gases such as sulfur dioxide, hydrogen fluoride, and/or chlorine. Nuisance level refers to concentrations not exceeding the OSHA PEL or other applicable government exposure limits, whichever is lower. The D3078 is not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH), sandblasting, or in environments that contai
