Engineered to streamline pre-use inspection processes, every aspect of the new 3M™ DBI-SALA® Smart Lock Self-Retracting Lifeline is designed to support safe, efficient operation and improved user convenience in demanding work environments.
Using advanced motion-capture technology, we analysed the forces applied to the SRL during typical work-at-height tasks. This data enabled us to engineer a new arrest mechanism that more effectively distinguishes between a fall event and normal working movement, resulting in an SRL tailored to the demands of the application.
